Shire Wellness offers massage therapy, stretching and energy work sessions focused on relaxation, pain relief, mobility and recovery. Sessions may include therapeutic massage, restorative massage, assisted stretching and Reiki depending on your needs.
Are sessions customized?
Yes. Every session is personalized based on your goals, comfort level and areas of tension or stress.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever feels comfortable. Massage sessions are performed with professional draping for privacy, while stretching and energy work may be done fully clothed. Your comfort is always the priority.
Studio
Is Shire Wellness a home studio?
Yes. Shire Wellness is a private, appointment-only home studio in Edgewater, NJ. Sessions take place in a dedicated treatment room designed to feel calm, clean and professional. Because the studio is inside a home with cats, clients with severe allergies should reach out before booking.
Is the studio private?
Yes. Shire Wellness operates from a peaceful private home studio designed to create a calm, personalized experience away from the atmosphere of a busy spa.
Are there pets in the home?
Yes. Cats live in the home, though they are kept out of the treatment space during sessions. Clients with severe allergies should contact us before booking.
Where are you located?
Shire Wellness is located on Russell Avenue in Edgewater, NJ, near Fort Lee, Cliffside Park, North Bergen and the George Washington Bridge. Sessions are available by appointment only.
Booking and policies
How do I book?
Appointments can be booked through the scheduling link, by phone or by text. You’ll be directed to the booking and payment site to reserve your session. Pre-payment is required to help prevent missed appointments and protect scheduled session times.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling whenever possible. Sessions are prepaid at the time of booking and missed appointments are non-refundable. Late cancellations and emergencies are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Mobile massage and community wellness
Looking for wellness beyond the studio?
Shire Wellness offers personalized in-home massage, wellness experiences for community events and dedicated mobile services for select locations. Sessions are tailored to the individual or group setting.
We also provide on-site massage services for residents of Canal Walk in Somerset, with select Wednesday and Saturday appointments available.
